A meeting of the YAI Council took place on 09 Sep 13 at New Delhi with numerous subjects about the sport discussed.

The first full meeting of the YAI Council since completion of the elections in August 2013 was an opportunity for the Council Members to share challenges and goals of their respective committees. The Council meeting included appointment of Chairpersons of various YAI Sub Committees and their roles and responsibilities and presentations about the work and priorities of committees and sub-committees.

A Coach Development Clinic is being organised at Chennai during 21 -28 Sept 13. The Clinic is focused on the development of the individual’s skills as a Club Coach and their attitude to be successful on and off the field. Coach Development Clinic features detailed skill development through a proven system of progressive teaching and feedback. Our supervising level of instruction ensures quality and consistency within a positive, disciplined and focused environment in which to learn and improve.  

The Balloting Committee of the YAI today met at 1800 Hrs to open the ballots and declare of results of various elective positions in the YAI Council. Welcoming the participants of the Meeting, the Chairperson gave a brief on the tasks that were required to be carried out by the Committee in opening the ballots, counting of valid ballots and declaration of results so as to abide by the notifications of the Election Notice issued vide YAI letter No YAI/ Election/2013 -17 dated 30 April 2013.
