The Yachting Association of India (YAI) strongly objects to the publication of false reports in the media spread by a few people with vested interests and malafide intentions. The matter is subjudice and while refraining from commenting on the matter, the YAI strongly condemns attempts to tarnish its image and spread incorrect news and facts. People doing so should be refrained from doing so in the larger interest of Indian sports. The YAI will further speak on the matter once it is resolved in court.

The Clipper Round the World Yacht Race is a unique event which offers anyone the chance to sail around the world no matter their previous experience; many take part with none before their Level 1 training. The race will take Gaurav 40,000 Miles across all continents in the world.
