The 46th General Body Meeting of the Members of the Yachting Association of India will be held on Tuesday, 09 December 2014 at 1400 hrs at Varunika, Nau Sena Bagh I, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, 110021.
Notice of any resolution/nomination to be proposed at this meeting shall be sent to the Honorary Secretary General by 20 November 2014.
The Rio 2016 Olympic Sailing Competition regatta venue is the Marina da Glória with racing taking place inside and outside the Guanabara Bay and will feature 380 athletes competing across the following 10 events:

Each National Olympic Committee (NOC) may enter a maximum of one boat per event, a total of 15 athletes (eight men and seven women).
Varsha Gautham and Aishwarya Neduchezian, today scripted a piece of sailing history in the Incheon Asian Games by becoming the first ever Indian women to win a Bronze medal for India at the Asian Games. Varsha Gautham also made it to the history books by becoming the youngest athlete from India amongst the medal winners at this Asian Games.
